I spent six days at Gili T or Gili Trawangan to give it its full name. I like to think that despite my injuries, I did everything I could to the best of my abilitiesCool things to do on the Gili TI want to share my new knowledge with all my beautiful readers.

I can't lie or pretend to be educated, the week included too many bintangs, sitting on the beach or in a bar, food and drinking games at the night market before hitting the clubs at the end.

Gili T is cheap, but the problem for me is that it's so cheap, so I eat more, which totally negates the cheapness. standard behavior. I spend about £200 a week including accommodation, beer money, food and all. that's it...

1. Stay at Hostal La Boheme

The 29 Best Activities I Tried on the Gili T (2)

bohemianIt definitely deserves a spot on the list of the best things to do with the Geely T. I had such a great time on the island thanks to this hotel. Once I checked in, I met some great people and we stayed together the few days I was there.

I slept well here thanks to the very dark room, and plenty of social space to meet new people. Just a short walk from the boats and the strip, and the staff are great.

Also, free pancakes.

La Boheme is one of my favorite hotel experiences of all time. stay here!

hostel: Check here the latest prices in La Boheme on Gili T

2. Go diving

Don't worry about not finding the best dive prices

If you want to dive at Gili T, there is a limit of $35 per person. Just chat with people and go with whoever you like.

3. Gili Meno or Gili Air day trip

The 29 Best Activities I Tried on the Gili T (3)

Gili Meno and Gili Air are so close and easy to get to from Gili T, you'd be crazy not to go.

You can take a booze cruise below, or just chat with local fishermen for a ride. If Gili T is too much for you, the other islands are much quieter!

4. Do Yoga at the Yoga Palace

You get a discount if you stay at La Boheme as it is across the street. I love doing yoga here, it's one of my favorite things to do at Gili T as it balances out a week of booze.

EDIT: This is now closed. when you are sad. However, there are plenty of other yoga places on the Gili T, just ask and look out for the signage.Namaste.

5. Hazardous breathing tube

The Gili T snorkeling trip advertised everywhere on the island is really bad as you don't see much and are crammed on the boat. In fact, I'd still recommend it, because it's awesome to get out of the water and dive in from the side. There are amazing marine life here.

It's also fun and a great opportunity to meet new people.

6. Drink at Sama Sama Reggae Bar

Of course, be careful with these steps.

Don't trip your toes any harder at Sama Sama Reggae like I did. That means he can't do anything but drink and eat during the week. horrible.

The front of my toe is falling off and if I were in the UK I'd be going to the ER. Still, I just drank a little sore because it meant I couldn't dive with my fins on.

To be honest, my toes were sore for days. It's especially bleak when I have to hose off the sand late at night with a high-powered hose.

Sama Sama Reggae Bar is really cool though.

7. There is no fee to join the daily boat party

Find the right people at this bar at night and you can get a band for free. It probably only works for ladies TBH.

Where is Geely?

The Gili Islands consist of three islands off the coast of Bali and Lombok, Indonesia. There are Gili Trawangan, Gili Meno and Gili Air. I spent six nights at Gili Trawangan (affectionately known as Gili T). On the fourth day, I decided to take a boat to Gili Meno, an island paradise more popular with honeymooners than party crowds. impressive.

i just stayed and readbell jarThis was the second time I had my favorite lunch Nasi Goreng - spicy rice with egg on top and prawn crackers on the side.

To get around Gili T, you can either walk like I did, or use one of the horse-drawn carriages. There are no cars on the island, so the only sound of traffic you're likely to hear is the honking of people in cars. However, when you're walking at night, they're pretty scary--horses suddenly appear in the distance. it reminds me ofwoman in blackMovie.

8. Eat a Big Burger at La Petit Grill

Whether it's falafel, vegetarian curry, or fried rice, it's all good.

La Petit Grill also has happy hour from 6-8 where you can get cheap beer and cocktails as well as snacks.

You've probably noticed that, besides getting in the water, one of the main things to do on the Gili T is sit, eat and drink. correct!

9. Hang out in a tree house at a bar in Kuta

The 29 Best Activities I Tried on the Gili T (6)

Astonishing!

10. Watch the nightly turtle show at Lombok Grill

I couldn't actually do that, but apparently all the turtles come out when the sun goes down and you can see them from the restaurant. This is one of the most popular activities in Gili Trawangan, especially for couples in Gili Trawangan.

11. Rent a bike and explore the island

The ones that charge 30k probably don't have brakes, so you're better off paying 50k. I did and had a great day exploring the whole island.

Great if you want more viewsGili TrawanganThat's just the bar and the bottom of the sea.

I happened to see this reggae band taking pictures. I thought you might enjoy looking at this picture.

One of the best nights on the Gili T was at the treehouse at Kuta Bar, six of us had a few beers from the hotel and ended up spending 7+ hours there just watching the sunset and playing games .

Some nights we drank at the hostel, others at the ridiculous number of bars and clubs on the beach front of the island.

15. Eat desserts at the night market

Gili T Night Market isAstonishing, open nightly. There's a lot to see and eat, and it's all delicious. Long queue for the best food at Gili T.

18. Drink coconuts from an island-top stall

I don't quite remember the name, but that's what your trip to the Gili Islands is all about: discovery.

A coconut here for dinner will not only make you feel like you're on a desert island, but it'll be good for you too.

Perfect for combining it with your Gili T bike ride.
